Swing Speed Radar Ball Shield The Ball Shield protects the Swing Speed Radar and the Swing Speed Radar with Tempo Timer from ball impacts when either Radar is being used for ball speed measurements. Place the Radar flat on its' back, about 3 feet directly in front of the tee, such that it doesn't read clubhead speed.
